It's amazing how easy it is to rely on technology. Our oven back home, for instance, was electric. It had the spiffy digital temperature reading and magically baked everything the way I wanted it to.

This month’s Around Hawaii post is yet another review, as I still haven’t been able to get myself into the kitchen…
I was, however, able to check out Beach Bum Cafe, located in Executive Centre in Downtown. They’re not your ordinary coffee shop, all their coffees are ground on the spot, and brewed one or two cups at a time! The coffee was great, and while I haven’t been able to get there as often as I’d like (I’ve been on a stricter budget these days), I’m looking forward to treating myself with the good stuff every once in a while 
Their brewing methods alone are a great reason to check them out. It’s like chemistry all over again! Hehe.

Being busier than normal at work and with classes, I’ve been migrating from recipes to restaurant reviews on my Around Hawaii blog.
I guess even though I don’t have as much time to cook, I still make time to eat!
